Location|Winter Park, FL
Program|Film Museum
One of the most exciting and important events to take place in Winter Park is the annual film festival. In order to commemorate this event, the challenge of designing a film museum was presented.
The concept of this design is completely based around the importance of perspective when creating and also viewing film. This museum was derived from perspective points taken from areas around the site. The plans and circulation further developed my definition of perspective, which maintains and emphasis on multiple social interactions between both interior and exterior spaces. Extruding theaters throughout the building emphasized the program to the outside occupants.
